Can you not request them? I know going through TurboTax I had the option of pulling my 1099 forms from Schwab and other institutions. I’ve yet to receive the promised paper copies though

I was both happy/sad with how little I got back. I miss being 18 and somehow getting every penny I paid in taxes right back come refund time.

I tried that last year, nothing until virtually the last day. I’m not managing an inherited fortune or undeserved trust fund, I might not have the clout to demand data at will.

Funny thing, I sold some stock via Fidelity last year (employer account) and they sent paperwork last week. Maybe the price paid for Vanguard’s low fees.
